Denture repair vs replacement

In most cases of a denture breaking, it can be repaired.

At North Wilts Dental, Swindon, Wiltshire - denture repairs are something we can help you with. This can be via your dental practice, or you can visit us directly.

Repairs we can perform:

• Replace teeth that have fallen off of the denture (this is called de-bonding)

• Dentures that are broken

• Replace the that have chipped/broken off of the denture

• Add teeth to existing partial dentures if you lose your own teeth or they are extracted - this will require an impression from the dentist

• Dentures that don’t fit right because your mouth has changed (reline) - this will require an impression from a dentist

There may be times where a new denture is recommended such as:

• If the denture has sustained major damage

• If the denture has considerable wear

• If you are not happy with the appearance of your denture

• If you are having extensive dental treatment such as dental implants
